Restore balance in your body with the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP)
The Safe and Sound Protocol is a program designed to help people feel lastingly calmer and safer.
It uses specially processed music to regulate and calm your nervous system, reducing stress.
It was developed by Dr. Stephen Porges, creator of
the Polyvagal theory. It has already helped many people feel better and experience more calm.
You can easily follow the program at home through the Unyte app.
Filtered music
The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) is a therapeutic listening program. It uses filtered music to help people who have experienced trauma or chronic stress feel safer and more at ease in their bodies.
The Safe and Sound Protocol includes:
Five hours of filtered music, spread over 20 to 40 sessions. You listen according to a schedule tailored to your personal situation.
A Polyvagal course with practical information, breathing exercises, movement exercises and Polyvagal exercises.
Detailed listening instructions, so you know exactly what to do. With the right build-up (titration) and microdosing where needed, you listen at a pace that works for you.
What does the SSP consist of?
The SSP has three pathways: Connect, Core and Balance. With us, you get 12 months of access to the full SSP, including 12 months of personal guidance.
The Safe and Sound Protocol helps you to:
- become less sensitive to sound
- process speech and sounds more easily
- tolerate stimuli better
- relax more easily
- regulate your emotions better
- respond more calmly and steadily
- feel more connected to yourself and others
- strengthen your neuroception: the unconscious sense that you are safe
- let your body and mind come to rest again
